North American premiere at The Women’s International Film and Arts Festival

The Pink Room’s North American premiere will be at The Women’s International Film and Arts Festival to be held in Florida, March 28th-April 1st. This festival is a unique, cultural event, dedicated to women, held annually during Women’s History month designed to celebrate women and help them realize their dreams, visions and voices. To be eligible for the festival, films not only have to be about women, but there has to be a woman involved in the production of the film. So thanks to Janey Shugart, the Executive Producer/Co-Producer, The Pink Room can be apart of the 2012 WIFF!

The Pink Room will screen on Friday, March 30th at 2:00pm http://www.womensfilmfest.com

We are proud to announce that The Pink Room is an official selection of the 2011 ION International Film Festival.

ION “strives to bring awareness to individuals and organizations who are creating socially relevant films to positively impact our worlds. In an effort to fully engage an array of trans-global creativity we (ION) wish to provide a forum for everyone’s ingenuity to be premiered.” Ironically enough the festival was scheduled to be in Mexico, but has been relocated to Cambodia on December 16 & 17. This now makes the world premiere of The Pink Room in Cambodia, the country where it was filmed! We are very excited to be apart of this film festival and to have the opportunity to share it with those who are in the documentary.
